Mark Tannery

Minister of Music


Mark served as Minister of Music at Return Baptist Church for 13 years prior to serving at First Baptist. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music from North Greenville College and a Master’s Degree in Church Music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark and wife Mitzi Cox Tannery have four children: Caleb, Emily, Addie and Allie.


   Jeanne began as our Ministry Assistant in February 2005.  Jeanne has  two sons, Brandon and John.  Jeanne is the proud Grandmother of five, Harley, Niki, Kassidy, Paige and Gavin.  Jeanne enjoys cross stitching, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. Jeanne comes to us after retiring from the City of Seneca where she worked 29 years. Jeanne's goal in life is to "serve God with all my heart and be a blessing to others through His love."

Heather Bryant

Children's Director for Children's Ministry


Heather began as the Children's Director for Children's Ministry at our church the summer of 2017. Heather's mission as the Children's Director is to serve God through love, and the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to all children. Heather enjoys planning outreach events to spread the word of God in hopes to establish solid roots to all children throughout our community. Heather and Travis Bryant were married October of 2005 and they are proud parent of two children: daughter Rowan and son Sawyer.

Kenny served as Pastor of Earle’s Grove Baptist Church for 27 years prior to being called to First Baptist in 2011. Kenny and wife Lynn have been very active in mission work including building and repairing churches across the southeast. They have two adult children and five grandchildren.

Mac has served in full time ministry in Oconee county since 2006 with the last two years in his current position. Currently he is serving as the Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Oconee and Pickens County.
 
Mac is native of Oconee county and currently resides in Westminster, SC with his wife Sandra and two boys Graham and Grady.
